Before we tell you how it works, let’s start with why it works. Dating apps are now commonly used for sparking relationships of all kinds. There are many apps claiming they have the magic algorithm to find you the perfect match. There are others that match you with many people by swiping right or left. We have tried them all. The biggest issue we noticed with dating apps is their time consuming nature and the lack of genuine connections. You could end up messaging back and forth for weeks and never have a real date come from a match. Or you could end up with too many matches and an inbox full of bad pick up lines. Moxie is here to offer a solution. Our goal is to find you better matches in less time. We are putting the face to face interaction as the first step in the relationship and we only allow 1 match at a time. This way you can really focus on the date and get a feel for your match just like in the real world.

The Moxie Process Explained Step by Step:

If someone else likes you back a match will be made
You and your match will pick a time for the video date in the next 24 hours. You can not start messaging yet.
You will have the video date. It will end randomly between 3 - 7 minutes after starting. This random length gives you time to get a feel for your match without having to worry about who will hang up first and when.
After the video date you will be prompted to continue the match. If you both decide to continue then messaging will be enabled.
Now you can message or return to the call screen and start another video call. This time the video will not end on its own and you can talk as long as you want.
The app now functions as a video call / messaging app only with your match until you decide to end the match and look for someone else. Of course you can get their information and continue your relationship outside of the app if you want. To be safe you should not supply them with any information until you have met in person and can verify it is ok to trust them with a phone number, etc...
